Kendra Ahrens, DC

Practice Owner

Dr. Kendra Ahrens, grew up in Wisconsin. Dr. Ahrens has suffered from migraines since she was 12. After trying every possible treatment under the sun, she found chiropractic care. She experienced immense relief and decided she wanted chiropractic to be her profession. Dr. Ahrens attended undergraduate college at the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. She graduated with a double major in biology and chemistry. She continued her studies at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.

After graduation, Kendra, Justin (her fiancé) moved to the great state of Michigan for an associate position in Birmingham, MI. While in Birmingham, She focused on upper cervical care. Dr. Ahrens then changed her focus to working with children and pregnant women, joined the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, and became certified in the Webster Technique.

Dr. Ahrens is passionate about chiropractic care and the power of the body to heal itself. She is filled with gratitude to pursue her passion of helping families live up to their fullest potential.

Although she resides in Royal Oak, you can always hear her cheering for the Badgers all week and the Green Bay Packers on Sundays with her loved dog Duke.

Natalie Lawrin, DC

Dr. Natalie was born and raised in Southeast Michigan. She graduated from Oakland University with her Bachelor of Science in Biology and her Bachelor of Arts in English.
After college, Dr. Natalie attended Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. In her third year of schooling, she realized that medical school was not the path she wanted to follow to realize her dream of becoming a doctor. From her medical school experience, Dr. Natalie learned exactly what she wanted to do with the rest of her life: help the body heal itself. Dr. Natalie became fascinated with chiropractic when she found out that this field encompassed everything she loved about medicine.

Dr. Natalie earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Florida in 2017. She graduated Summa Cum Laude, Salutatorian of her class, was a recipient of the Academic Excellence Award, and was nominated for the Clinical Excellence Award. She is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and is certified in the Webster Technique.

Dr. Natalie treats everyone from infancy through adulthood. She combines manual adjustments and soft tissue work with patient education involving nutrition, exercise, and posture, to help each patient live life to their optimal level. Dr. Natalie is very excited and passionate about chiropractic care and helping families live their lives to their maximum potential.

Kris Mercado, DC

Dr. Kris was born on the west coast and has lived in different states across the country. She did spend part of her childhood years in Michigan, then returned and went to University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and graduated with a degree in Psychology-Neuroscience. She went on to attend National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois and completed her Doctor of Chiropractic & Master of Science, Acupuncture degrees. She finally chose to come back to Michigan for the third time and work in the Metro Detroit area to serve the community.

Dr. Kris seeks to improve her patients’ lives to have them feeling their best, beyond the walls of the office. She provides patient-centered chiropractic and acupuncture treatments and she is certified in the Webster Technique. She is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, Michigan Association of Chiropractors and American Chiropractic Association.

Shelly Eineichner, DC

Dr. Shelly was born and raised in Southeast Michigan. She was introduced to chiropractic at 17 years old when she began working as a chiropractic assistant. She quickly discovered a love for the profession and knew it’s what she was meant to do. After graduating from Oakland University with a bachelor’s degree in health science she moved to Atlanta, Georgia to pursue her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Life University, where she graduated summa cum laude. Dr Shelly practices a variety of techniques, including Activator, Thompson drop and Diversified. She customizes each adjustment in order to fit the patients needs for the best possible outcome. She is also certified in the Webster technique. Dr Shelly, her husband and their 2.5 children have called Royal Oak home for more than a decade and she is excited to share her passion for chiropractic with the community they have all grown to love.
